Using the free open source edition of Untangle, Packet Networks will supply your business with a web gateway that can, amongst other things, filter out inappropriate websites, block online advertising, potentially costly and illegal peer-to-peer file sharing, and block viruses and spyware before they reach your internal network.

The cost of the web gateway device starts at $700 inc. GST.  This includes the hardware with capacity for up to 20 client computers, configuration and installation. As the base software is free, there is no charge for the software.  For advanced configurations, different rules at different times of day, for instance, an additional configuration charge will apply.  Larger offices will require more powerful hardware to maintain performance.
